This was a question I received from a listener of the show and I realized I never responded. I hope these 3 tips are a bit out of the box for you but also something you can easily implement (especially the first one).

Leverage ChatGPT

ChatGPT is great for mom things such as: meal ideas, school curriculum (for small kids obvi), play ideas, chore schedule, etc.

I love starting my week off with getting a quick meal plan and grocery list and then on Monday I start shopping an order on Instacart.

This saves me SO MUCH TIME!

Outsource a tangible home activity

My choice is always laundry and I outsource my laundry using a service called Happy Nest (DM me on instagram @momsdobusinessdifferent your email address and I can give you $25 off on your next order).

But essentially all I want you to do is make sure you outsource something home related and this doesn’t have to be paid. You can create friendships with other moms and swap chores and activities that one person enjoys and not another.

I know a group of women who one LOVES laundry so she will wash their clothes and they will babysit her kids for a weekly date night. It’s a win-win!

Shift your schedule from daily to weekly

Instead of thinking about things needing to be done by the end of the day, start creating a list for the WEEK.

If you’re finding you have more do at the end of your list every day then shift to thinking about your deadline as the end of the week.

With this tip you want to make sure you’re intentionally scheduling tasks for all the parts of your business for the entire week.

Listen to the episode if this is confusing but essentially I want you to ditch your daily to do list in favor of a weekly list that is broken into categories that cover all the major aspects of your business (and your life).
